Unique original work from Damien Hirst's 'The Currency' project.
Launched as a series of 10,000 unique works, with the purchaser given the option of keeping the original painting or swapping it for an NFT. Those who elected to keep an NFT of the work had their original painting burned and destroyed by the artist. Only 5,149 of the unique paintings are now in existence.
Each unique artwork is numbered, titled, stamped with the Hirst logo and signed by the artist on the back. Additional authenticity features include a watermark, as well as a microdot and a hologram containing a portrait of the artist.
The original, physical painting, hand-signed by the artist (not a blockchain-based token).
