Lisa Bonet had a meteoric rise to stardom at a young age in the eighties. Making a name for herself in The Cosby Show and the spin-off, A Different World, she famously starred in Angel Heart with Mickey Rourke in 1987. The same year, she appeared topless in a centre-spread in the Interview magazine, the cover for which this painting was created, and also eloped with Lenny Kravitz.
