Pharmacy was a fashionable restaurant in Notting Hill, London, backed by Hirst and the public relations guru, Matthew Freud. It's doors opened in January 1997 and closed September 2003.
Hirst designed all the fixtures and fittings, furniture and crockery etc., as well as the art and sculptures to decorate the restaurant.
He retained ownership of the contents and the Sotheby's sale made him over £11 million.
