Largely from Conran restaurants, including Bluebird, Le Pont de la Tour, Étain, The Great Eastern Hotel and Terminus (the Terminus ashtray 14cm wide, 10cm deep, 2.5cm high (5 1/2in wide, 3 1/2in deep, 1/2in high) .
Some used and designed by Conran for his various projects.
Sir Terence Conran (1931-2020), as well as being a design pioneer and restauranteur was a cigar aficionado - these ashtrays were owned and some were used by Conran as receptacles for his private use.Provenance
