A rare sponsorship with an outside brand, the show was sponsored by Puma.
It is believed only 10-20 pairs of this Banksy design were produced and they were not commercially available.
The exhibition, featuring live animals (amongst Banksy's paintings) was held in a disused warehouse on Kingsland Road in London's East End. These Banksy-designed trainers were one of a very few items he designed for Puma as part of the sponsorship arrangement.
The colourway chosen by Banksy was 'Coffee/Sesame/Metallic Gold/White' and each pair features the Banksy tag in gold needle-stitching to the inner heel and the show title 'Turf War' stitched to each outer heel.
In perfectly preserved condition, with original individual trainer polythene bags, promo stickers to in-soles and the original 'Turf War' labelled Puma cardboard box (UK size: 4.5 | US size: 5.5).
Accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Banksy's former agent.
